The Mayan Ruins of Tulum

The only Mayan ruins by the beach.  This walled ancient city is definitely something to check out while you are in the area.

Sian Ka'an Biosphere Preserve

Snorkeling, bicycling, kayaking .. this is a great spot to spend the day.

Xel-Ha

A lagoon/aquatic natural theme park... snorkel down a natural inlet through mangroves.  Be sure to check out the big fish under the bridge.

Grand Cenote

We haven't done this yet, but it's at the top of our list for the wedding.  Seems surreal to snorkel in these amazing caves!

Xcaret

Another Eco Park close to Tulum.  In Xcaret you can swim in a natural river the carves in and out of caves.  It's a little more touristly than Xel-Ha but still pretty fun.
